DESCRIPTION:Scientific Speleological Days\, 29th edition – Journées de Spéléologie Scientifique\, 29ème édition \nEnglish version (version Française ci-dessous) \nEach year since 1997 enthusiastic cavers meet for the scientific aspects of speleology in Han-sur-Lesse for a weekend of meetings\, presentations and discussions.\nThe scientific meeting is mainly dedicated to Belgian karst and neighboring regions\, as well as to the Belgian achievements abroad. The meeting is accessible for all and is intended to be an opportunity for cavers\, scientists or merely curious to inquire or submit new observations or discoveries.\nOn Saturday there are many interesting conferences\, such as from the guest speaker Fernand Collin\, Prehistorian\, Director of the Préhistomuseum\, Flémalle/Ramioul\, Belgium\, who will talk to us about Caves and Men: discovering the multiple relationships between Paleolithic man and the caves of Wallonia and on Sunday there is a fieldtrip to the Ramioul region\, from the Schmerling valley to the Lion quarry. \nPlease hold these dates and practical information in french can be found on: https://sites.google.com/view/jss2/\n__________________________________________________\nVersion Française \nDepuis 1997 les passionnés des aspects scientifiques de la spéléologie se retrouvent chaque année à Han-sur-Lesse pour un weekend de rencontres\, de présentations et de discussions.\nLes Journées se consacrent principalement aux karsts belges et des régions limitrophes\, ainsi qu’aux réalisations belges à l’étranger. DESCRIPTION:“Speleology and karstology of the Jura Arc Region: caves\, water and climate from the past to the future” \nThe 19th EuroSpeleo Forum is organised in Morteau in the Jura massif by the Departmental Committee of the Doubs (CDS 25)\, from Friday 14 to Monday 17 May 2027.
